About this event

A winter illumination that lights about 550 meters of Sun Sun Road, lined with 48 zelkova trees, outside Tachikawa Station's north exit with about 600,000 bulbs. A "TACHIKAWA ILLUMINATION" gate stands at the entrance and a photo spot sits midway, with the lights continuing toward the Akebono Gate of Showa Kinen Park. In December, a winter market with food trucks and live music is also held. Since it stays lit until midnight, it seems well suited to a walk after work or after dinner in Tachikawa.
